- 1). Insert the MMC card into your computer's built-in MMC card reading slot, with the MMC card's label facing up and the notched corner facing toward the right. Select the "Open a Folder to View Files" link if the Windows "AutoPlay" prompt appears on the screen.
- 2). Navigate to the "Start" menu if the "AutoPlay" prompt did not appear. Click "Computer" and double-click the drive letter corresponding to your MMC card, such as "E" or "J." In Windows XP, double-click the "My Computer" icon on the desktop and select the MMC card's drive letter.
- 3). Double-click any file's name in the window to open and view the file. Right-click the file and choose "Delete" if you want to remove it from the MMC card.
- 4). Click a file from your computer and drag it into the window to transfer the data to the MMC card. Close the window by clicking the "X" icon on the upper-right corner when you are done accessing the card.
- 5). Double-click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the task bar at the bottom of the screen. Click the option for the MMC card and select "Stop" to ensure your operating system isn't currently reading or writing data on the card. Remove the card from the card reader.
