Companies That Supply Safe Rooms & Fallout Shelters

    Granger Plastics

    • The Granger Plastics Company manufactures a plastic safety shelter that comes assembled and ready for immediate use. The shelter is made of polyethylene and is designed for short-term occupancy by up to five people. The pod is installed directly into the ground, and access is through the built-in door that opens outward. The door locks from the inside, allowing those seeking shelter to secure the pod from high winds or other threats. Seating and ventilation inside make the shelter suitable for those getting out of the way of an approaching windstorm or other dangerous event. The shelter can be installed in any ground opening and under the floor of a garage provided the ground beneath can be accessed.
