- 1). Fill a bucket with warm water and 2 tsp. of mild dish soap. Wet a cloth with the cleaning mixture.
- 2). Scoop the road salt from the ceramic tile with the cloth. Shake the road salt from the cloth onto an old newspaper. Rinse the cloth in the bucket of cleaning solution.
- 3). Wipe the cloth gently over the ceramic tile removing the remaining road salt. Use light pressure as you wipe to avoid scratching the tile with the salt.
- 4). Rinse the cloth in the cleaning solution. Wipe the cloth back over the affected area of the flooring.
- 5). Wet a clean cloth with warm water. Rinse the ceramic tile with the cloth, removing the cleaning solution from the floor. Dry the floor with a clean cloth.
