- Hewlett Packard produces the HP Compaq 6910P, a business notebook laptop. Notebooks, small, portable laptops, sacrifice performance for a small size and longer battery life. HP acquired Compaq in 2002 and has since continued to brand some of its products with the Compaq name and logo.
- The standard processor on the HP 6910P is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7250, a dual-core processor with a speed of 2 gigahertz. The processor uses a 2-MB L2 cache to make a temporary copy of small amounts of data to speed up data recall. The HP 6910P comes with 1 gigabyte of DDR2 SDRAM as standard, but can support a maximum of 4 gigabytes.
- Notebooks often use a smaller hard drive to minimize weight. The HP 6910P has 120 gigabytes of storage space -- less than you will find on a larger laptop -- on a single hard drive.
- The HP 6910P has an integrated graphics chip on its motherboard. This forms part of the Mobile Intel PM965 chip set that it uses. Intel designed the Mobile series as a low-voltage solution, ideal for extending battery life in laptops. The laptop includes built-in speakers.
- The HP 6910P measures 13 in. wide, 9.4 in.deep and 1.14 in. tall. It weighs 4.4 lb. and offers a 14.1 inch display.
