- 1). Absorb excess grease from your hands and fingers with paper towels. Blot the grease from your skin to remove as much as possible.
- 2). Pour 1 teaspoon of olive oil into a small bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of table salt. Stir the two ingredients together with a spoon.

Spoon the mixture onto your hands. Spend two to three minutes rubbing the oil and salt solution over your hands, paying particular attention to grease stuck in the cracks and joints of fingers. The oil and salt help break down the grease residue. - 4). Rinse the oil and salt mixture off your hands with warm water. Repeat procedure if necessary to remove any remaining grease.
- 5). Pump two or three drops of liquid soap into your hands. Wet a soft nail brush and use the brush to spread the soap around and clean your hands, fingers and underneath fingernails.
- 6). Rinse your hands with warm water. If grease odor remains on your hands and fingers, sprinkle baking soda into your palms and rub your hands together to remove odor. Rinse the baking soda off and dry your hands with a soft towel.
