- 1). Select the wedding album. Look for these in craft and scrapbooking stores. Often there will be designated wedding albums in the stores that have spaces to put the wedding date and couples name, but if there isn't look at the regular scrapbooks and albums and choose the one you like most.
- 2). Plan your page layout. You can often purchase layout templates from the craft stores but you may decide that you want to make your own. Consider where you want the pictures, how many images you want per page, and whether you want to add text and embellishment. Remember that pictures can be trimmed to be any size so not all pages will have to be the same.
- 3). Choose your paper and embellishments. Now that you've decided on the page layout select the embellishments like stickers, ribbons, border, and any other patterned paper that you want to decorate with.
- 4). Select your favorite photos from the wedding. Often there will be many shots of the same thing, but with a slightly different angle, so choose your favorites and be selective. Decide how they will be displayed in the album, chronologically or differently, and lay them out on the pages to plan. When you have settled on their final positioning attach them to the page with adhesive tape.
- 5). Gather any other mementos from the day. Wedding albums are more interesting and sentimental when you add things like the wedding invitation, napkins, and dried flowers from the bouquet.
- 6). Slip plastic page protectors on every page. This will ensure that your memories are protected for many years to come.
