Fights come in everyday, so that we do not know how to identify the real fight from the unreal.
Simply put, the real fight is one wherein there is something at stake, and you will lose something when you do not give it your best shot.
An unreal fight is broader; it accepts childish fights, squabbles, misunderstandings and minor brawls.
An unreal fight is more common and it can also be amended easier than the real one.
Imagine a situation wherein you and your best friend are in the mall and you find the perfect dress to add to your wardrobe.
However, your best friend also eyes the dress with admiration and has declared that she wants it for herself.
You may engage in a word fight, bickering at each other and throwing verbal lashes that may prompt the other to lay off the dress.
Your heads are both full of witty phrases ready to be launched.
However, at some point your heads will cool down and you will realize that fighting over a dress is childish.
In the end you end up not buying the dress at all and look for something else that will have a consensus from both of you.
This is not a real fight, for you both know that you will never choose a material dress over your best friend.
An example of a real fight is when you are a struggling independent businessman who would like to try a new line of products but would require your employees to work overtime without the extra payment because of the lack of funds.
Your employees would argue with you because they will lose enough rest and sleep and will not be compensated appropriately.
You argue back because you think that the investment will pay off, plus the additional income can be used to expand your company, at the time of which your employees will be given their overdue salaries.
This is a real fight because you will either lose your capital or lose your employees; your employees will either lose their jobs or lose their rest.
Both parties are torn with what to give up and the decision does not come in as easy as you want it to.
Sometimes a real fight may result from petty fights where misunderstanding was left an outstanding issue.
If you will not clarify the issue as soon as possible, you may end up losing something of value that you can never take back that easily.
