- 1). Place the computer on a flat surface sitting right-side up. Slide the display locks on the front of the closed laptop to unlock the lid, then open the display.
- 2). Press the power button located between the keyboard and the screen. It's directly to the left of three small LED lights and directly to the right of the laptop's speaker covering.
- 3). Allow Windows Vista to load. If multiple users access this laptop, sign in using your account by choosing the correct account and entering your password before hitting "Enter" on your keyboard. After another moment of waiting, Windows Vista will completely load and you've booted the Acer Aspire 5515.
