- 1). Scrub the tile clean using a heavy-duty cleaner and a clean, soft cloth.
- 2). Use a damp towel to wipe away any residue left behind by the cleaner. Allow the tile to dry completely.
- 3). Apply masking tape around the edges of the tile to prevent accidental staining of the surrounding area.
- 4). Spray primer over the entire tiled area and allow it to dry for 1 hour.
- 5). Pour stain into an 8-ounce spray bottle and spray onto the tiles.
- 6). Use a clean lint-free rag to evenly blend the stain into the tiles. Leave the stain to dry for at least 1 hour.
- 7). Spray two coats of sealer onto the entire tiled area an let the tile dry for at least 24 hours.
