- 1). Go to an online layout generator. Begin by creating your background, which will compose much of your layout. Select a color from the color chart provided, or upload an image from your computer for your background. If you upload an image, specify where you would like it aligned on the page and if you would like it to be tiled. You can also fix the background in place or allow it to scroll with the page.
- 2). Create your tables by selecting a background color for them, or by uploading an image to serve as your background. Decide whether you would like the table to be opaque and select your border size, color and style.
- 3). Denote the font face, font color, font style and font size for your body text, heading text and link text. You can also select a different font face, color, style and size for the hover text of your links. Click "Generate Code" when you are satisfied to get the HTML code to copy and paste into your profile.
