- 1). Launch Adobe Acrobat on your Mac.
- 2). Click "Acrobat" from the main menu bar, and then select "Preferences" from the drop-down list. The Preferences window opens.
- 3). Click "Updater" from the list in the "Categories" column on the left side of the window.
- 4). Click the "Do Not Download or Install Updates Automatically" check box, and then click "OK."
