- 1). Use a video converting software, like Movavi Video Converter (see Resources).
- 2). Click add, then select your PAL file, and click "open." Select "MPEG" as an output format. Select "DVD NTSC Compatible" in the next menu. Select an output directory and click covert.
- 3). Burn your newly converted NTSC file, if desired.
- 1). Download and install VLC Media Player.
- 2). Place your PAL DVD disc into the DVD-ROM drive on your computer. Open the VLC media player. Click "media" then "open disc".
- 3). Choose the "Disc" tab. Check the "DVD" and "Stream/save" boxes. Click "Settings" and place a check in the "File" box. Select the location you wish to save the output file into.
- 4). Click the "MPEG PS" button. Check the "Audio Codec" box. Choose "MP3" audio and select "192" bit-rate quality. Change the audio channel to "2." Check the "Select All Elementary Streams" box.
- 5). Click "OK" to copy. Your video file is now in NTSC format on your PC and ready to be burned to a DVD.
