- 1). Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel" from the list on the right.
- 2). Type "UAC" (without quotes) in the search box or navigate to User Account Controls by clicking the "User Accounts" link.
- 3). Click the "Turn User Account Control on or off" link. When the prompt appears, remove the check box for the "Use User Account Control to help protect your computer" option.
- 4). Click "OK" when you have finished and restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
