- 1). Rinse the deck with the garden hose. Loosen as much of the mold and residue as possible.
- 2). Mix 1 gallon of water with 2 cups of oxygen bleach in a bucket. This cleaner safely breaks up the mold without harming soil or landscaping.
- 3). Dip a nylon scrub brush into the cleaner and scrub across the mold. Rinse the area with the hose as you clean. Continue until all mold is gone.
- 4). Let the deck air dry. Remove mold on a bright, sunny day so the deck can dry quickly.
