- 1). Open AVG on your computer. You can find it in the "All Programs" list from the "Start" menu, or you can find it in the "System Tray" of icons next to the clock.
- 2). Click the "Update" or "Update Now" button on the AVG home screen.
- 3). Wait for the AVG files to update. The time varies depending on how long it has been since your last update. You will receive a message letting you know the update was successful.
