- 1). Log on to your computer and click the "Start" button. Choose "Control Panel" from the menu.
- 2). Click "System and Security" and choose the "Administrative Tools" option. Double-click "Services" to open the list of services.
- 3). Right-click the "Print Spooler" service and choose "Properties" from the list. Change the "Startup Type" to automatic to ensure that the print spooler service starts each time your computer does.
- 4). Right-click the "Print Spooler" service again and choose "Start" from the menu. This will force the print spooler service to start and restore communication with your printer.
