Hi. I'm Skylar. If you'd like to change your dock preferences to either auto hide or keep you doc showing all the time I can show you how to do that on the Mac right now. So here we are looking at my desktop and what you'll notice right away is that you don't see my dock. To reveal it I mouse over the bottom of the screen. What if I want it to be there constantly. Well, I'll open system preferences right here. You can also do that by accessing launch pad and clicking system preferences or clicking spotlight and clicking system preferences. Once there I'll click dock. Dock gives me all of the preferences that I can change. So I can change the position of the dock, I can change what effect it uses to minimize Windows. And I can change whether it shows indicator lights, whether it hides and shows the dock automatically or whether it animates opening applications. I can also change the size and the magnification. Let me show you what those things mean. So now the dock is always visible. If I change the size we see how the scale is affected. If I change magnification it means that as I roll my cursor over the icons they become much larger. If I turn it off there no change in the icons. Now you can tailor the dock to what you like. Thanks for watching. I'm Skylar.
