- 1). Click the "Start" menu.

- 3). Click the drill-down menu next to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE."
- 4). Proceed to click the drill-down menus next to "Software," "Microsoft," "Windows," "Current Version," "Explorer," "My Computer" and "Name Space."
- 5). Right-click the "BDEADF00-C265-11D0-BCED-00A0C90AB50F" entry under "Name Space" and select "Delete." You have now removed Web folder icons.
