- 1). Turn off the DTV and VCR by pressing the "On/Off" button on the front of each component or use the remote control.
- 2). Plug in the red, yellow and white connectors on one end of the composite cable into the playback/output jacks on the back of the VCR.
- 3). Connect the three plugs on the other end of the cable to the corresponding color-coded inputs on the DTV, typically on the edge or back panel.
