- 1). Lay one piece of construction paper on a flat surface and spread a thin layer of tacky or craft glue all over the construction paper.
- 2). Place 25 marshmallows on the glue-covered construction paper in five rows of five marshmallows. The five rows should be placed side by side with the rows touching one another.
- 3). Layer 16 marshmallows, four rows of four marshmallows each, on top of the previously glued bottom layer. The second layer of marshmallows should be centered above the bottom layer.
- 4). Anchor the two layers of marshmallows by pushing toothpicks that have been cut in half through the top of the second row and into the bottom row of marshmallows. Place one toothpick per marshmallow in the second row to anchor the construction securely.
- 5). Place the third level of marshmallows, three rows with three marshmallows in each row, on top of the second layer and anchor the third layer with the toothpicks. The third layer of marshmallows should also be centered prior to anchoring.
- 6). Place the fourth level of marshmallows, two rows of two marshmallows each, centered directly above the third layer and anchor with the toothpicks.
- 7). Place one marshmallow directly at the center of the construction on top of the fourth level and anchor with a toothpick.
