- 1). Click on the "Start" menu icon located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, and then click on "Control Panel."
- 2). Click on "Add Hardware," and then click the "Next" button inside the "Add Hardware Wizard" screen. Click on "Yes, I have already connected the hardware," followed by the "Next" button to continue.
- 3). Select "Add a New Hardware Device," and then click on the "Next" button. Then click on "Install the hardware that I manually select from a list (Advanced)," and then click on the "Next" button to proceed.
- 4). Click on "Sound, video and game controllers," and then click on the "Next" button. Then click on ""(Standard system devices)," under the "Manufacturer" section. Click on the "Have Disk..." button.
- 5). Click on the "Browse" button, and then locate the "C:\Windows\System32" folder. Then locate the folder named, "mmdriver.inf." Click on the "Open" button in the "Browse" dialog box, and then click on the "OK" button inside the "Install From Disk" dialog box.
- 6). Select the individual codec you want to install, and then click on the "Next" button. Repeat this procedure for every codec you want to install manually. Restart you computer when you are finished.
