- 1). Start your HP G60 and log in to Windows Vista. Click on the "Start" button located in the lower left corner of your screen.
- 2). Click the "Control Panel" icon on the right side of the menu that pops up. Double-click "System and Maintenance" in the "Control Panel" window.
- 3). Select "Power Options" on the screen that you are taken to. Click the "High Performance" radio button to "On."
- 4). Close the "Power Options" window. Your HP G60 laptop will now run in "High Performance" mode.
