- 1). Turn the printer on by pressing the "Power" button on the top left corner of the printer, and lift the front cover open. The cartridge holder will automatically move to the left, making it easy to access.
- 2). Push down and pull out any existing ink cartridges in the printer.
- 3). Remove the protective tape from the bottom of the black cartridge and insert it into the left ink slot. Insert the cartridge with the ink facing down and the electrical contacts facing the printer. Push the cartridge in and up until it clicks into place.
- 4). Install the color FINE cartridge in the same way, by removing the protective tape and inserting the cartridge into the ink slot on the right. Insert the cartridge with the ink facing down and the electrical contacts facing the printer. Push the cartridge in and up until it clicks into place.
- 5). Close the front cover and the cartridge holder will return to its normal position. You are ready to use the newly installed FINE Cartridges.
