- 1). Insert the Windows disc into the system. Restart the system.
- 2). Press any key as prompted to boot from disc.
- 3). Select your keyboard type, language and currency for Vista, then click "Repair your computer." Press "Enter" at the welcome and click "F8" at the license terms for XP.
- 4). Click the drive containing Vista and click "Next" to repair boot settings. Press "R" to repair your XP system.
