- 1). Attach a spacer bar to a lobster clasp using a jump ring. Use your flat nose pliers to hold the jump ring as you join the two pieces together. Align the jump ring. Attach a spacer bar to the ring clasp using a jump ring.
- 2). Determine the desired length of your bracelet; seven inches is average. Cut a 2 and 1/2-inch length of 2mm curb chain and attach one end to the first loop in the spacer bar using a jump ring. Attach the other end to the first loop in a 4-loop Rondell divider. Cut a 1-inch length of curb chain and attach one end to the first loop in the 4-loop Rondell divider. Attach the other end to the first loop in a second Rondell divider. Cut a 2 and 1/2-inch length of curb chain and attach it to the first loop in the second Rondell divider and to the first loop in the second spacer.
- 3). Cut a 2 and 1/2-inch length of 6mm Belcher chain, and attach one end to the second loop in the spacer bar using a jump ring. Attach the other end to the second loop in a 4-loop Rondell divider. Cut a 1-inch length of Belcher chain, and attach one end to the second loop in the 4-loop Rondell divider. Attach the other end to the second loop in a second Rondell divider. Cut a 2 and 1/2-inch length of Belcher chain, and attach it to the second loop in the second Rondell divider and to the second loop in the second spacer.
- 4). Cut your beading wire to 6-inches long. Thread the beading wire through the third loop in the spacer bar. Fold 3/4-inch of the wire back and slip the end through two crimps. Use the crimping pliers to compress each crimp bead twice to firmly connect the beads to the wire. Use your flat pliers to align the small end of the wire with the long wire. Bead your wire to 3-inches. Be sure to slip your first beads up over the little piece of wire near the spacer bar. Use a bead holder to hold your beads in place.
- 5). Cut your wire a 1/2 inch beyond the bead holder. (The bead holder looks like a small spring.) Remove the bead holder. Slide two crimp beads onto the wire. Thread the end of the wire through the third loop in the Rondell divider and then back through the two crimp beads. Slide the crimps as close to the beads as possible, and then use the crimp tool and crimp each bead in two directions. Tuck the end of the wire into the beads to hide it.
- 6). Cut, wire, bead and crimp your 1-inch section between the Rondells and another 2 and 1/2-inch section between the Rondell and the last spacer. Follow this same process for the last three sections of beads. This will complete your bead and chain bracelet.
- 7). Cut, wire, crimp and bead two strands of beads from the fourth Rondell loop. Connect the wires to an Ethiopian cross pendant using the same double bead crimping method as before. Tuck your wire ends into your beads.
- 8). Position the bracelet on your wrist with the Ethiopian cross toward your fingers. Measure from two holes closest to your fingers on the Ethiopian cross, around your center finger and back. Cut a piece of curb chain to this length and attach it to the Ethiopian cross using jump rings. This acts as the ring.
