- 1). Check the email Windows Security box to make sure it is Windows Security, and not a spam program pretending to be Windows Security. It should have the Windows Security logo in it, and it should appear as usual, when you try to open your WinMail or any other computer-based email program. If it appears while you are online, or when you aren't accessing your mail, stop what you are doing and run your virus protection program.
- 2). Input your email address and your email password into the box, if it asks for email and password.
- 3). Input your Window User ID and administrator password into the box if it asks for Windows ID. This security feature could ask for either, depending on what you are trying to do.
- 4). Click "OK" to log in to the program and access your email.
