Framed Words

• Grace the backdrop of your booth with framed words, quotes or folk sayings that reflect your particular New Age life approach. This decorative accent is particularly appropriate if you are drawn to the sleek, spa-like New Age look. Decide on the words and sayings you wish to spotlight. Words you might use include "love," "light," "breathe" and "be." Type each word or saying on a fresh word processing document with the paper aligned horizontally. Make the text large enough to fill the page, and choose a font that appeals to you. Print each word and slip the page into a plain frame. Hang the frames on or in your booth.
  
  

Dramatic Draping Fabric

  Deck out your booth in draping fabric in deep, rich colors if your New Age style veers toward the multi-layered, colorful, gypsy caravan-style. Fabric can be draped over the main booth table or used to swath the booth's vertical backdrop, if it has one. You can also use draped fabric to disguise ugly tent poles, if you have a booth with a top. Colors suitable for draping fabric include royal purple, emerald green, sapphire blue and ruby red.
  
  

Plants in Cool Bottles

  Place plants or flowers in one-of-a-kind glass bottles and set them on the horizontal surfaces of your booth in order to add a literal "breath of life" to your booth. Unusual bottles are a decorative staple of the eclectic variety of New Age style. You can often find such bottles at thrift stores, garage sales, flea markets and antique shops.
  
  

Hanging Stars

  Hang stars from the horizontal support that your booth banner covers for an eye-catching, decorative accent that reflects the New Age association with astrology and universal consciousness. The stars can be re-purposed Christmas ornaments, simple cutouts from printed craft paper or ornate home-accent items purchased from a retailer. Hang the stars from threads of slightly different lengths in order to avoid having too much uniformity in the decor.
