- 1). Log into your WordPress account.
- 2). Click "Plugins" in the left hand columns, and then click "Add New."
- 3). Type the form you want to create into the text box, and then click "Search Plugins." For example, if you want to create a contact form then type "contact form" into the search box. If you want to create a generic form or a variety of forms, type "forms."
- 4). Click the name of the plugin you want, and then click "Install Now." The plugin will install to your WordPress site.
- 5). Click the plugin name in the left hand sidebar and follow the directions for use. Most plugins feature straightforward directions on how to place the form into a specific place on your blog. For example, to use the "Contact Form" by "ContactMe," click "Settings" and then click "ContactMe Form." Enter the email address where you want to receive messages and then click "Create Account." The contact form is activated and ready to use.
