- Visit Microsoft.com/downloads, enter "MSN messenger 7" in the "Search all download center" box and select "MSN Messenger 7.0" from the list of downloads presented. Choose your desired language and click on the "Download" button.
- Run the file you've downloaded to install the program. You'll need to read through and accept the license agreement and personalize your installation by selecting which shortcuts and additional features you want to install with the main program. Click on "Finish" to launch the application.
- Hit the "Sign in" button to set up your account. If you already have an active Windows Live ID, you can enter your details to log in. If not, you can create an account by highlighting the "Sign up now" option and creating new account credentials.
