- 1). Click on the "Start" button.
- 2). Click on "Run..." and type "regedit" without quotes.
- 3). Click on the "OK" button to launch the Registry Editor program.
- 4). Use the "+" signs in the left pane of the Registry Editor to navigate to the location in the registry that contains the key whose value you want to edit.
- 5). Right-click on the key whose value you want to change, click on "Edit" and then change the value to what you want it to be. Click "OK" to save the settings change.
