- 1). Open the "Disk Management" utility. To do this, open "Run" from the "Start" menu. Type "compmgmt.msc" and click "OK" to open the "Computer Management" window. Select "Disk Management" in the sidebar.
- 2). Locate the SuSE 10 Linux partition in the list of drives and partitions. Right-click it and select "Delete." Confirm the action.
- 3). Restart the computer with the Windows XP Setup CD in the disc drive. Boot from the CD, as prompted.
- 4). Press "R" to enter the Recovery Console when the option appears. Select your Windows partition.
- 5). Type "fixmbr" and hit Enter. Type "fixboot" and hit Enter. This will repair Windows Master Boot Record, altered when your dual boot system was setup. Once complete, restart the computer (without the CD inserted) to launch into Windows XP.
