- 1). Place latex gloves over your hands and wear a face mask to prevent you from inhaling fumes. Open a window for ventilation.
- 2). Pour 1/3 cup of borax into a 2 gallon container. Mix 1 gallon of lukewarm water into the container and stir with a wooden spoon until the borax is dissolved.
- 3). Add 1 tbsp. dish-washing detergent and 2 tsp. household ammonia. Add five drops of tea tree oil and stir the ingredients together for one minute. Use the solution with a mop, sponge or spray bottle to clean your floors.
