- 1). Click the Windows "Start" menu and click the "Control Panel."
- 2). Click the "Printers and Other Hardware" option under "Pick A Category." Click the "Mouse" option to launch the Mouse Properties dialog box.
- 3). Click the "Touch" tab and click the "Disable This Device" to disable the touch pad. Click "OK" to save the changes.
