This is the movie version of the popular HBO TV series that ended in 2004, and Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Chris Noth all reprise their roles in the film. The movie picks up four years after the series finale and continues to be Manhattan-based, focusing on the romantic and sexual relationships of the four female leads.


The ladies still like to drink cosmopolitans, a mix of vodka, Cointreau or Triple Sec, cranberry juice and limejuice. Carrie (Parker) and Mr. Big (Noth) contemplate marriage, and Jennifer Hudson joins the cast.
