- 1). Connect the Samsung phone to a USB port on your computer using the USB cable.
- 2). Double-click the desktop icon for the ringtone creation software (see Resources) to launch it, or click "Start," then "Programs," then select the ringtone creation software from the programs list.
- 3). Click the "Ringers" or "Ringtone" tab.
- 4). Click "Edit," then "New." Browse to the folder where the sound file you wish to use is stored and double-click the file to select it.
- 5). Click and drag the "Clip Start" and "Clip End" sliders displayed on the track. Your ringtone should typically be no longer than 30 seconds. Click "Play Clip" to hear a preview, and click "OK" when you are satisfied with the sound clip.
- 6). Click the "Send Phone Data" button on the toolbar.
- 7). Check the box next to "Ringtone," click the radio button under "Add," then click "OK." The ringtone will now be sent to your Samsung phone.
