- 1). Open iTunes.
- 2). Click the "Edit" menu and choose "Preferences" and then the "Advanced" tab. At the top, you'll see the location where the song will be saved on your computer. If you don't like the default location, click the "Change" button to the right to find a different location and press "OK." Press "OK" again to close the "Preferences" menu.
- 3). Place the CD in your computer's CD drive.
- 4). Click the name of the CD, which can be found under the "Devices" list in the left column menu of iTunes.
- 5). Make sure there is a check mark in the gray box next to the song you want to upload. Click the gray boxes of the songs you don't wish to upload, which will remove the check mark.
- 6). Click the "Import CD" button in the bottom right corner of iTunes. The song will now be copied to your PC.
- 1). Open Windows Media Player.
- 2). Click the arrow below "Rip" near the top of Windows Media Player and choose "More Options." Click the "Rip Music" tab. Near the top of this menu is the location where the song will be saved to your computer. If you don't like that location, click the "Change" button, find the location you want and click "OK." Click "Apply" and then "OK" to close the "Options" menu.
- 3). Place the CD in your computer's CD drive.
- 4). Click the "Rip" button found. Make sure there is a check mark in the box next to the song you want to copy to your PC. Click the boxes next to the songs you don't wish to copy. This will remove the check mark.
- 5). Click the "Start Rip" button in the bottom right corner of Windows Media Player. The song will now be copied to your PC.
- 1). Open RealPlayer.
- 2). Place the CD in your computer's CD drive.
- 3). Click the "CD/DVD" option found in the left column menu on RealPlayer.
- 4). Right-click on the song you want to copy to your PC. You will now be given a list of options. Select "Save Track(s) to my Library." A menu will now pop up.
- 5). Make sure there is a check mark in the box next to the song you want to copy to your PC. You can also change the location of where your song is saved by clicking "Change Settings," and then the "General" option in the top left corner of the menu. Click the "Browse" button found next to "My Library Files," find the location on your computer where you want to copy the song, click "OK" and then click "OK" once more. Once everything is set up the way you want, click "OK" again. The song will now be copied to your computer.
