How to Open a Panasonic VCR

1). Unplug the Panasonic VCR from the power outlet to avoid any electrical shock. Disconnect any video cables from the VCR.
2). Turn the VCR around so you are facing the back of the unit, where the audio and video inputs are located.
3). Unscrew the screws around the edge of the of the Panasonic VCR with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Turn the VCR around and unscrew any screws along the side of the unit. Keep all screws in a safe place for when you are putting the cover back onto the VCR.
4). Grab the edges of the Panasonic VCR cover and gently push it toward the back of the unit. It will come loose and you can see inside of the VCR.
