A crazy ex girlfriend is a common problem for many guys.
They may have dated for a couple weeks to a couple years, and the result is a woman scorned, a woman who feels enraged and full of negative emotions.
This results in the poor guy getting bombarded with angry texts, threatening voicemails, basically anything that keeps a paranoid ex boyfriend up at night.
Not to take a morbid tone, but with the news of famous celebrities getting hurt or murdered by current or ex girlfriends is even more of a reason to consider how to handle a somewhat crazy ex lover.
One of my craziest ex girls was a very sweet person when we were together.
I would never have imagined she'd become a crazy ex girlfriend.
We spent a lot of time together, we went to ballgames, strolled through the park, she looked after my dog, helped me clean my apartment; she was a real catch.
But when we broke up, I saw a side of her that I never knew existed.
I felt as if 'big brother' was watching, as if I had nowhere to hide.
I was tempted to play her game, to feed into her madness, so to speak.
At first I thought about what I could do; I could prank her, I could scare her, I could date her best friend...
But in the end after a couple of drinks with some close friends, I decided that this wasn't necessary, and by feeding into her crazy obsession I'd only make things worse.
So in the end I occupied myself in other ways and did my best to ignore the obsessive things she was doing.
I deleted her number from my cell phone, I changed up my routes leaving and returning to my apartment, and I blocked her e-mail and her profile on social network websites.
Normally I wouldn't do all these things, but she was particularly nuts.
