- 1). Connect the coaxial cable that runs from the satellite to the threaded RF (Radio Frequency) connection labeled "Cable In" on the back of the HD satellite receiver. This is how the satellite signal enters the TV.
- 2). Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the HD satellite receiver and plug the other end into the HDMI port on the TV. HDMI cables transfer the highest quality video and audio signals between devices through a single cable.
- 3). Plug the HD satellite receiver's power cord into a wall outlet. Turn on the receiver and the TV. Press the "HDMI" button on the TV's remote control to view the satellite receiver. Change the channels from the satellite receiver. You can change volume on both the TV and the satellite.
