Ericsson T630 Features

    Dimensions, Display and Power

    • Compact and lightweight, the Sony Ericsson T630 candybar-style phone measures 4 inches long, 1.7 inches wide and 0.7 inches deep and weighs 3.2 ounces, making it portable and easy to carry with you. Its 1.8-inch thin-film transistor screen displays more than 65,000 colors at 128 by 160 pixels of resolution. When fully charged, a standard lithium-polymer battery holds 750 milliamp hours of energy, providing the phone with up to 315 hours, or 13 days, of standby and up to 14 hours of talk time.

    Internal Features

    • Featuring 2 megabytes of internal memory, the Sony Ericsson T630 is not equipped with a card slot for expandable memory. The phone connects to the 2G network using Global System for Mobile Communications technology on the 900, 1,800 and 1,900 frequency bands. Several Bluetooth wireless profiles are supported by the phone, including hands-free, headset, object push and file transfer. For transferring files and synchronizing data, the phone connects to a personal computer through a USB cable, and features an infrared data transfer port for sharing files with other mobile devices.

    Camera and Messaging Features

    • The T630 features a 0.1-megapixel digital camera that uses Common Intermediate Format technology to capture still images at up to 288 by 352 pixels of resolution. Unlike many cellphones and smartphones on the market in 2011, the T630's camera is not capable of recording video. Text, photo and voice messages are supported by the T630, which also provides mobile email through connections to a Post Office Protocol (POP3) or Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP4) server. The phone also supports instant messages, which are short text messages sent and received through an Internet connection.

    Miscellaneous Features

    • Up to 500 contacts, with room for multiple numbers and photo ID, are supported by the Sony Ericsson T630's phone book. Available in silver and black, the T630 comes with several preinstalled games, such as Alien Scum, Mini Golf and Honey Cave 2, and is able to download additional games. The phone connects to the Internet using a Wireless Application Protocol 2.0/xHTML browser. A variety of productive software applications are featured on the T630, including a calendar, a calculator and an alarm clock.
