- 1). Close out of your Adobe program and open your Web browser.
- 2). Go to the "Adobe Updates" page and scroll down to the "Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 Update."
- 3). Click on the operating system that you are using.
- 4). Save the update to your desktop. Click "OK." Wait for the update to download. It should take about 30 seconds.
- 5). Double-click on the "Adobe Extension Manager" icon from your desktop. Accept the software agreement by clicking the box next to "I Accept." Click "Next," "Install."
- 6). Wait for the install to finish on your system. This should take about a minute. Click "Finish" to close out the update.
- 7). Double-click on your CS5 icon to relaunch your software with the update installed.
