- 1). Select a gauge of craft wire that will fit through the hole in the Swarovski crystal. Cut a piece of the wire six inches long.
- 2). Align the two ends of the craft wire, making a bend in the middle. Pass one side of the wire through the large Swarovski crystal. Shape the wire around the top of the pendant until the two wires meet again.
- 3). Position the round nose pliers on the wire 3/16-inch above the pendant. Make a backward 90-degree bend. Make sure both wires are bent precisely in the same spot.
- 4). Grasp the wires with the biggest portion of the round nose pliers. Begin forming a forward loop in the wire. Stop the loop when the wire has formed a complete circle and has passed the beginning of the 90-degree bend.
- 5). Wrap the wire around the stem of the loop toward the Swarovski crystal. Wrap the wire one half turn at a time, rotating the crystal as you go along. Make sure the wires do not overlap each other during this process.
- 6). Remove the excess wire with a pair of chain nose pliers. Chain nose pliers allow you to make cuts flush with the jewelery piece.
