Before we get into how HIIT works, you must make sure that you stretch out your muscles.
Also, you must stay hydrated throughout your workout.
Note that this is an intense workout and if you feel like you can not perform it anymore more, then stop the routine.
Begin your fat burning workout with a 5 minute jog.
This is to get your leg muscles warmed up.
Stretch again.
Next, sprint as fast as you can for 30-60 seconds.
After you have finished your short timed sprint, jog for 1-2 minutes.
After your light jog is up, sprint once again at full speed for 30-60 seconds.
After the sprint jog for another 1-2 minutes.
Now repeat this process 6 more times.
