- 1). Insert your CD into the computer, restart the computer and press any key when you see the message "Press any key to boot from CD" appear.
- 2). Press the "Enter" key, press the "F8" key, highlight the "Unpartitioned space" on your computer, press the "C" key and then press the "Enter" key.
- 3). Press "Enter" to select the new partition, select the "NTFS file system" partition type, press "Enter" and wait for the installation files to load and the computer to restart.
- 4). Click "Next" when prompted, type in your username and your company's name, click "Next," type in your product key, click "Next" and then select the type of license you have for the server.
- 5). Click "Next," type in a name for the computer, type in a password for the administrator user account, click "Next" and then adjust the date and time settings on the computer.
- 6). Click "Next," wait for the "Networking Settings" window to appear, click "Typical Settings," click "Next" and wait while the operating system finishes its installation on your computer.
