- 1). Press the "Windows" key and your "R" key together on your keyboard. This will launch the "Run" utility.
- 2). Type "cmd" in the field and hit the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
- 3). Type the file name of the screensaver you want displayed and then "/p65552" (without the quotes) in the command window that appears. For instance, if you want to run the Aurora screensaver that comes on some Windows machines, type "aurora.scr /p65552" (without the quotes). Note that there must be a space between the "r" and the "/." Hit the "Enter" key.
- 4). Right click the taskbar and select "Task Manager" to stop it. Click the "Processes" tab, highlight the screensaver file that is running and click the "End Process" button.
