Lift the corner of the frozen wax with a rubber spatula. Grasp the frozen wax with your fingers and pull it up and off the lead crystal the remainder of the way. Repeat this with all wax stains until they are removed from the lead crystal. - 3). Combine 2 cups white vinegar with 2 cups hot water in the sink. Soak the lead crystal in the diluted vinegar solution for about 10 minutes to remove any remaining wax or grease residue from the wax spills.
- 4). Wash the lead crystal with a clean cloth and the vinegar solution. Rinse the lead crystal with warm water. Dry with a lint-free cloth and then allow the lead crystal to air-dry the rest of the way.
