- 1). Gather your choice of paper for necklace making.
- 2). Lay the paper flat. Draw triangles that are 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches long. These will become your beads. Cut different size triangles to alternate the bead style, if desired.
- 3). Cut the triangle shapes from the paper. Twenty-five beads are required to complete a full necklace.
- 4). Spread glue on one side of a paper triangle.
- 5). Place a straw on the glue side of the triangle shape. Use the straw to roll the triangle into a bead shape.
- 6). Remove the straw quickly and repeat the process for each paper bead.
- 7). Dry the beads at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours.
- 8). Thread the beads onto jewelry wire, pre-cut yarn or standard jewelry chain. Knot or clasp the ends together to secure the necklace. A jewelry findings kit includes wire, clasps and directions for attachment.
