- 1). Sprinkle baking soda generously on the stains.
- 2). Fill a spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar. Spray the vinegar on the baking soda. Keep the baking soda and vinegar on the water stains for 10 minutes.
- 3). Scrub the stain vigorously with a nonabrasive sponge. Rinse the ceramic surface thoroughly with warm water.
- 4). Inspect the ceramic surface for remaining water stains. If stubborn stains persist, spray commercial soap scum remover on the affected ceramic. Keep the product on the water stains for the amount of time specified on the label.
- 5). Dampen a soft cloth with water. Wipe away the stains completely with the damp cloth.
- 6). Rinse the ceramic surface thoroughly with water. Dry the surface with a terry cloth towel.
