- 1). Visit a computer store to experiment with floor-model Macs to adjust to the different style of operating system and the hardware mechanics.
- 2). Talk to employees at the computer store so you can have any questions answered and you fully understand how the Mac will benefit you in the future.
- 3). Use programs that have both Mac and PC versions, which you are already familiar with on the PC. The Mac version will function very similarly to the PC version and, while there will be differences, it will be simpler for you to adapt to them than trying to learn a brand new program while still adjusting to Mac mechanics.
