- 1). Insert the Windows 2000 CD-ROM in your optical bay and close it.
- 2). Double-click "My Computer" on the desktop to look for the drive letter of the CD you just placed in the optical bay.
- 3). Click "Start" and "Run."
- 4). Click "Drive:\bootdisk\makeboot a:" without quotes. Replace "a:" with the drive letter of your floppy disk
drive and "D:" with the drive letter of your Windows 2000 CD-ROM.
